Update from Neuron
Neuron have had to cancel the free scooters for healthcare workers as the adelaide city council have told them to remove all scooters
Dear valued rider,
In light of the evolving circumstances in Adelaide relating to COVID-19 the City of Adelaide has directed us to temporarily suspend our operations in the city. As a result our e-scooters will not be available for rides from Sunday, 5pm, 29th March 2020 until further notice. This suspension of our services will also include the Western Alliance coastal e-scooter trial. Sadly this will also affect those public health workers in Adelaide who have recently taken up our offer of a free monthly pass.
Those riders who are currently using a three-day, weekly or monthly pass will have a completely new pass issued (regardless of how many days have been used on their current pass). Once our e-scooter services resume these will be valid for use. Alternatively, please reply to this email if you wish to have a partial refund of your current pass instead.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation carefully and we look forward to resuming services in Adelaide as soon as the situation allows.
We can all play a role in reducing the risks of contracting and spreading COVID-19. To learn more about the precautions you can take, please refer to the World Health Organisation guidelines and advice published by local health authorities.
Thank you for being a loyal Neuron rider. We look forward to you riding with us again soon. In the meantime, please stay safe.

If your friends or family are public health workers please inform them of the offer. They will be able to activate the free monthly pass easily through our app, the registration takes a matter of minutes. Once they have downloaded the app and registered their account they should visit the Rates & Passes page and verify their eligible public health email address. Then a Neuron e-scooter can be unlocked and ridden straight away.
